Roland Kelts is a Visiting Professor at Waseda University's School of Culture, Media and Society. Roland is a self-employed Author, Journalist, Lecturer, and Consultant. Kelts is also a Writer In Residence at CATWALK INSTITUTE and a Featured Speaker at TEDxTokyo. As a Visiting Scholar at Keio University, Roland conducts research on the globalization of Asian media and popular culture. Additionally, Kelts is a Contributing Writer at The New Yorker, Time Magazine, CNN, and The Japan Times. Roland is also a Media & Culture Columnist at the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan. Kelts holds a Master's degree from Columbia University and a Nieman Fellowship in Journalism from Harvard University, among other degrees.
