Ashesh Mahto

Ashesh Mahto is a Development Editor at the American Chemical Society since April 2022, bringing expertise in scientific research and editorial work. Prior experience includes serving as a Scientist at the International Centre for Clean Water, focusing on membrane-based processes and funding acquisition, and as a Senior Research Associate at Jain University, where work involved membrane testing set-up and biomass value-addition. Ashesh has also contributed to research on bio-fouling mitigation during an exchange program at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and developed the Forward Osmosis process as a Project JRF at the Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute. With a PhD in Chemical Sciences from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research and degrees in Physical Chemistry and Chemistry from Delhi University and Kirori Mal College respectively, Ashesh demonstrates a strong academic foundation in the field.
