Cathleen Crudden

Cathleen Crudden is a Professor at Queen's University and serves as Editor In Chief for the American Chemical Society since February 2021. In addition, Cathleen holds the position of Vice Chair at the Chemical Institute of Canada and has been a Research Professor at the Institute for Transformative Biomolecules since December 2012. Cathleen also chairs the NSERC Chemistry Liaison Committee and was the President of the Canadian Society for Chemistry from June 2012 to May 2013. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry with a focus on Catalysis from the University of Ottawa, a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Toronto, as well as a PhD exchange program at Osaka University and an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
