Deborah Penchoff

Deborah Penchoff currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida since September 2024. In addition, Deborah holds positions as an Energy and Environment Fellow and CORE-19 Member at the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, and Director of the Scientific Fellows Program at the Tickle College of Engineering at the University of Tennessee, where the role as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering is also held. Notable roles include Member-at-Large Executive Committee and Editor In Chief for the American Chemical Society, alongside previous tenure as Associate Director at the Innovative Computing Laboratory. Deborah's early career includes significant contributions at the Institute for Nuclear Security and various research positions at the University of North Texas, Michigan State University, and the Joint Institute for Computational Sciences. Deborah's foundational academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, focused on Computational Sciences.
