Emily Kunchala

Emily Kunchala, CPA, currently serves as the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer at the American Chemical Society since May 2023. Previously, Emily held various positions at The Research Foundation for SUNY from January 2011 to April 2023, including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration, Interim CFO, Vice President for Finance and Administration, Vice President of Internal Audit, and Director of Internal Audit. Prior experience includes working as a Director at KPMG from December 2002 to January 2011 and as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1999 to 2002. Emily Kunchala earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst between 1995 and 1999.
