Gerardo Castillo

Gerardo Castillo is a Program Specialist in ACS Education at the American Chemical Society since June 2023, overseeing projects such as ACS Project SEED, ACS Scholars, and organizing the LEADS Conference while serving as a committee staff liaison. Prior experience includes a role as a Chemistry Graduate Researcher at Indiana University Bloomington from August 2020 to May 2023, focusing on Analytical and Atmospheric Chemistry within the IU Chemistry Department and O’Neil School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Gerardo also worked as a Research Assistant in Analytical Chemistry at the University of North Texas and as a Science Teacher at Lake Dallas ISD from August 2016 to September 2019. Additional background includes private tutoring with Tutor Doctor of Frisco/McKinney from August 2015 to June 2016. Gerardo holds a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of North Texas.
