Phil McBride

Phil McBride has been a prominent figure in education and chemistry since 1991, serving as Senior Dean at Eastern Arizona College, where oversight includes the Gila Pueblo and Payson campuses, in addition to previous roles as Chemistry Instructor and Dean of Instruction. McBride has actively contributed to professional organizations, currently holding the position of Chair of the Southern Arizona Section of the American Chemical Society since January 2024, with a focus on enhancing community understanding of chemistry. Past leadership roles include President Elect of the Arizona Science Teachers Association Inc. and District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America Grand Canyon Council. McBride's teaching experience extends back to Mogollon and Snowflake High Schools, and academic credentials include a PhD in Chemistry from Miami University and a Master's in Teaching from Northern Arizona University.
