Rajendrani Mukhopadhyay

Rajendrani (Raj) Mukhopadhyay is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry and science communication, currently serving as the Senior Vice President for Inclusion and Belonging at the American Chemical Society since April 2017. In this role, Raj leads initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion within the chemistry community. Prior to this, Raj held various positions at the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, including Managing Editor and Chief Science Correspondent, showcasing expertise in publication and scientific writing. Raj has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from McGill University, along with extensive experience in both editorial roles and scientific communication.
