Douglas R Briggs

Douglas R Briggs is a Chiropractic Physician and Acupuncturist with extensive experience since November 1995 at First State Health & Wellness, located in Little Italy, Wilmington. In addition to practice, Douglas serves as the Delaware State Delegate for the American Chiropractic Association and chairs the Acupuncture Advisory Committee to the Medical Board. Active in various professional roles, Douglas is a member of the Delaware Health Care Oversight Panel for Workers’ Compensation and holds multiple instructional positions, including being an NRA Certified Instructor and a martial arts instructor. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College, a Diplomate of Medical Acupuncture from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and a BS in Natural Science from Messiah University. Douglas also serves as Security Coordinator at Faith Baptist Church and has held leadership roles such as Past President of the Delaware Chiropractic Society.
