Matthew Burris

Matthew Burris is an experienced film industry professional with a strong background in technical support and production assistance. Currently serving in multiple roles at American Cinematheque since September 2018, including Assistant Film Traffic and Aero Theatre Staff, Matthew has also contributed as a Technical Assistant at the New York Film Academy during two separate terms in 2022 and 2023. Prior experience includes processing residuals at SAG-AFTRA and maintaining Ricoh printing devices at Ricoh USA, Inc. and Technicolor. Additionally, Matthew has held various roles in office assistance and media production with companies like Universal Music Group and Positive Image Video Productions, Inc. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Screenwriting from LAFSC and a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media Arts-Film Production from Huntington University.
