Dan Stoddard is an accomplished leader in the energy sector with extensive experience in nuclear engineering and operations. Currently serving as a board member for both American Electric Power and the National D-Day Memorial Foundation, and as board chair for the American Civil War Museum, Stoddard has demonstrated a commitment to community and historical preservation. Previously, Stoddard held various senior leadership roles at Dominion Energy, including Senior Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer, contributing to the organization's strategic direction and operational excellence. Stoddard holds a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

American Civil War Museum
Building on decades of experience, and one of the largest private collections of Civil War artifacts and documents, the American Civil War Museum is uniquely positioned. In the spring of 2019, we will open our new, state-of-the-art facility. Exhibits and programming will introduce our visitors to the American Civil War from multiple perspectives including Union and Confederate, enslaved and free African Americans, soldiers and civilians.
