Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in energy strategy and technology innovation. Currently serving as Senior Principal & Director of Amazon Energy at Amazon Web Services (AWS) since October 2014, Abhishek oversees global energy strategy, investments, and commercial transactions. Previously, Abhishek held leadership roles in global energy procurement, successfully launching Amazon Energy LLC and establishing wholesale power strategies. In addition to the role at AWS, Abhishek is a board member of the American Clean Power Association. Prior entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding kWantix, LLC, kWantera, and MobileFusion Inc., where innovative solutions in energy trading, AI, and machine learning were developed. Abhishek's academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and an MS in Robotics & AI from Carnegie Mellon University.
