Marie Gargas

Marie Gargas currently serves as the Senior Director of Regulatory and International Affairs at the American Cleaning Institute, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Marie Gargas spent over 25 years at the Plastics Industry Association, advancing through various positions including Senior Technical Director of Regulatory Affairs, where the focus was on aiding stakeholders in the plastics value chain with environmental health and safety regulations. Educationally, Marie Gargas holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey.
