Liliana Cardenas serves as the Presidenta of the Capitulo Cardio Oncologia de la Sociedad Sudamericana de Cardiología since January 2023 and holds the position of Jefe del Servicio de Cardiología at Hospital Eugenio Espejo since June 2020. Cardenas has been a profesora at Universidad Católica del Ecuador for postgraduate studies and at Universidad Central del Ecuador for undergraduate cardiology since 2010. Additionally, Cardenas is a long-standing international member of the American College of Cardiology since 2010 and has practiced as a cardiologist in the Unidad Coronaria at Hospital Eugenio Espejo since June 2008. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cardiovascular Advances at UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia since September 2019, Cardenas combines extensive clinical expertise with academic contributions in the field of cardiology.
