Mark Bruce

Mark Bruce has extensive experience in emergency medicine, currently serving as the Lead Ambassador to Belize and Canada for the American College of Emergency Physicians since June 2011. This role involves networking with Canadian colleagues and training Emergency Medicine Physicians through the "Strengthening Emergency Care in Belize" program at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Additionally, Mark has worked as a shareholder at Emergency Room Specialists since 1985 and has held positions as an Emergency Department Staff Physician at Edgerton Hospital And Health Services, Inc. from December 2014 to December 2023, and as Clinical Director of the Emergency Department at Emergency Medicine Specialists, SC from January 2009 to December 2023. Mark earned a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree in Medicine and Surgery from Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine between 1976 and 1979.
