Suzannah Alexander has extensive work experience in educational publishing and content development. Suzannah is currently the Director of Educational Publishing at the American College of Emergency Physicians, where they have held various editorial roles since 2018. Prior to this, Suzannah was self-employed, working as a Content Developer, Art Development Editor, and Graphic Artist from 2006 to 2018. Suzannah also worked as a Contract Content Developer at Marchon Partners from 2016 to 2017. Suzannah began their career at Cengage Learning (formerly Thomson Higher Education) in 2000, where they held editorial positions in biology and sciences. Their roles at Cengage Learning included Associate Development Editor, Senior Assistant Editor, Assistant Editor, and Editorial Assistant, spanning from 2000 to 2006.

Suzannah Alexander completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Learning Technologies at the University of North Texas from 2020 to 2023. In addition, they have a Graduate Certificate in Science Illustration from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Suzannah also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Oklahoma Christian University. Furthermore, they have a Certificate in Technical Writing from The University of Texas at Arlington, as well as a Certificate in Professional Sequence in Editing from the University of California, Berkeley.
