David Laha, D.P.M., FACFAS, is the owner and founder of Kansas City Foot Specialists, a physician practice dedicated to the medical and surgical treatment of the foot since December 1985. In addition, David serves as the President and Medical Director of the Surgery Center of Blue Valley and holds a board certification in Foot and Ankle Surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. David is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and has served as a board member and past president of the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. David's commitment to education is demonstrated through tenure on the Board of Trustees at Kansas Wesleyan University, where David was also the former chair of the Enrollment Committee. David completed a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kansas Wesleyan University.

The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) is the professional society of more than 8,000 foot and ankle surgeons. Founded in 1942, ACFAS seeks to promote the art and science of foot, ankle and related lower extremity surgery; address the concerns of foot and ankle surgeons; ensure superb patient care; and advance and improve standards of education and surgical skill. ACFAS Fellow members are board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
