Patrick (PJ) Andrus, MBA, CAE has a diverse work experience in various professional societies and associations. Patrick (PJ) currently serves as the CEO of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a society that promotes foot and ankle surgery and ensures high standards of patient care. Before that, they were the CEO of the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society, where they focused on advancing knowledge and practice in emergency veterinary medicine. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at the American Hospital Association, including Executive Director of ASHE, a professional membership group, where they achieved significant growth and sustainability advancements. Patrick (PJ) also worked as the Deputy Executive Director of Operations and Director of Business Development at the same organization. In addition to these positions, they have experience as a Marketing Manager at the American Hospital Association and as a Marketing Coordinator at the Association Management Center. Patrick (PJ) started their career with an Advertising Associate Internship at The Next Wave.
Patrick (PJ) Andrus, MBA, CAE, received their B.S. degree in Marketing with a minor in Finance from the University of Dayton, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Patrick (PJ) then pursued their Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management at the DePaul Driehaus College of Business from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they are a Certified Association Executive (CAE), awarded by ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership.
