James Hill M.D., Mph

James Hill, MD, MPH, currently serves as a Professor in the MUSC Department of Family Medicine and as System Medical Director for Corporate Health, Employee Wellness, and Occupational Medicine Programs at MUSC Health, roles held since October 2022. With extensive experience in occupational health, James Hill has been a Council member and Fellow at the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine since May 2010, contributing to the development of guidelines for the medical evaluation of law enforcement officers. Previously, James Hill was the National Director of Public Safety Medicine at Marathon Health and held various academic and leadership positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, including Associate Professor and Medical Director of Occupational Health. James Hill's education includes an MD from the Medical University of South Carolina, an MPH from Yale School of Public Health, and a BS in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
