Dr Gideon Ooi

Dr. Gideon Ooi 黄书凯医生 serves as a Consultant Diagnostic Radiologist and Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician at the National Cancer Centre Singapore and Singapore General Hospital, respectively, since January 2020 and November 2021. Additionally, Dr. Ooi is an Associate Consultant at the American College of Surgeons and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, where involvement includes academic roles in Radiological Sciences and Oncology programmes. Education includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore and Fellowships in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Ooi holds expertise in AI-augmented detection of liver diseases and has experience with the Biodesign framework, contributing to provisional patents in nephrology. Prior leadership roles include Chief Resident at SingHealth and Base Medical Officer with the Republic of Singapore Air Force.
