Lynn Bootes

Dr. Lynn Bootes began her connection with Western Astrology in 1970. After some very productive years as an MD practicing Family Medicine in group practice, she has enjoyed retirement from medicine while coming back to her roots in astrology.

She found Jyotish through a course offered by Dennis Harness at Kepler college in 2006, and decided to complete the AVCA ‘Jyotish Ratna’ and ‘Jyotish Prabhakara’ certifications in 2008 and 2010 while completing her AA and MA in the history of Cosmology at Kepler College in 2012. She completed the Vedic Astrology Coaching certificate in 2013. She also holds certifications in western astrology from NCGR. Lynn joined the Leadership Team in the fall of 2020 and is delighted to be able to perform a role of service to the tradition which has given her so much. She particularly enjoys teaching students, giving consultations, and writing about Jyotish, and brings her experience as a volunteer and team member in her profession, church and community.
