John Armstrong

John Armstrong has extensive experience in the banking industry. John currently holds the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at American Commercial Bank & Trust since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at The First National Bank of Ottawa from 2012, where they also served as the Executive Vice President - Cashier and Commercial Loan Officer. John started their banking career at Northern Trust in 2005, where they held positions as 2nd Vice President - Sr. Account Manager and Fund Accountant.

John Armstrong attended Ottawa Township High School from 1997 to 2001. John then went on to study Finance, General at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
