Elaine Binnix is an experienced professional in public and applied history, currently serving as ACE Digital Media Partner at American Conservation Experience since February 2023. Binnix has previously worked as a Park Guide at Gulf Islands National Seashore with the National Park Service from June 2022 to March 2023, and as an Interpretation Assistant at both UWF Historic Trust and Wisconsin Maritime Museum. Additionally, Binnix held the position of Graduate Assistant at the University of West Florida in early 2021 and has experience in business development and historical site interpretation from roles at John Lee Nissan Mazda and Edison & Ford Winter Estates. Binnix earned a Master of Arts in Public/Applied History from the University of West Florida in 2023, following a Bachelor of Arts in History from Asbury University in 2018.

American Conservation Experience (ACE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing rewarding environmental service opportunities for youth, young adults, and emerging professionals of all backgrounds to explore and improve public lands while gaining practical professional experience. ACE is a national leader in recruiting, coordinating, and training volunteers to undertake practical environmental restoration projects in U.S. parks, forests, wildlife refuges, and other public lands. Our programs provide opportunities for youth, young adults, and emerging professionals of all backgrounds to gain tangible professional and field experience through meaningful, hands-on conservation projects. In 2004, ACE began as a small, international conservation program in Flagstaff, Arizona, engaging global volunteers in an American Conservation Experience through rewarding public lands projects. Since then, we have grown to serve locations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, continuing our mission to foster cross-cultural understanding and unity through national service.
