Linnea McCarty

Linnea McCarty is an experienced professional in conservation and environmental management, currently serving as the Alumni Outreach and Media Coordinator at American Conservation Experience since August 2020. Prior to this role, Linnea held various positions at the same organization, including Project Manager, Training and Development Coordinator, and Crew Lead from August 2016 to December 2019. Linnea also worked as a Natural Resource Assistant at the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation from August 2015 to July 2016 and was a Crew Member with AmeriCorps from November 2014 to August 2015. Earlier experience includes serving as a Tree Climbing Instructor at Riverside Outfitters and as a Stormwater Intern with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay. Linnea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University.
