Anna Johnson is a Senior Researcher at The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), focusing on electrification and decarbonization of the industrial sector. With a Ph.D. in Geography and Environmental Systems, Anna has a strong background in researching plant-pollinator interactions, urban ecology, and water in the urban environment. Prior to their current role, Anna held positions at the Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program, University of Pittsburgh, Penn State Extension, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, and Baltimore Ecosystem Study. Anna also has experience as a Master Gardener, NSF IGERT Trainee, Graduate Student Representative, Visiting Scholar, Teaching Assistant, and Intern in various environmental and conservation-related roles.
