Deputy Director Of The National Energy Codes Collaborative at The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE)
Skye Gruen is currently serving as the Deputy Director of the National Energy Codes Collaborative at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) since December 2023, where leadership is focused on empowering states to implement updated building energy codes through collaboration and technical assistance. Previously, Skye held positions at BlocPower as Chief of Operations and at Bright Power, Inc. as VP Engineering for New Construction & On Site Generation and Director of New Construction & Sustainability. Additional experience includes serving as an Energy and Environmental Design Consultant at the Center for Architecture Science and Ecology and as an Environmental Engineer at CH2M HILL. Skye holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Yale University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
