Elizabeth Carden

Elizabeth Carden, CMP has extensive experience in conference development and marketing. From 2015 to the present, they have served as the Sr. Managing Director of Conference Development & Marketing at the American Council of Life Insurers - ACLI. Prior to this role, they held the position of Sr. Managing Director of Conference Development at the same organization from 2015 to 2023.

Before their time at ACLI, Elizabeth worked as a Meeting Planner at the American Bankruptcy Institute from 2009 to 2015. In this role, they managed multiple professional development programs, handled conference logistics and budgets, and collaborated with executive volunteers to develop program content.

From 2006 to 2009, Elizabeth served as the Director of Operations at Reflections Photography, Inc. Elizabeth oversaw daily operations, managed staff meetings and human resources, and acted as the primary contact for high-level clients.

From 2003 to 2005, Elizabeth worked as the Manager of Government Relations at the National Association of Convenience Stores. Elizabeth was responsible for managing and administering a political action committee and served as the staff liaison for the PAC Board Committee.

Finally, from 2000 to 2002, Elizabeth worked as an Events Coordinator at the National Republican Congressional Committee. Elizabeth coordinated official NRCC events and managed regional events, handling all aspects of planning and on-site management.

Elizabeth Carden, CMP holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University. In addition, they have obtained the Certified Meeting Professional certification from the Convention Industry Council in the year 2012.
