Ian Steger

Ian Steger has extensive experience in legislative roles, currently serving as Legislative Director at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) since January 2014, where responsibilities include researching Congressional and Administration activities related to life insurance and financial services. Previously, Steger worked as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Steve LaTourette, managing a diverse legislative portfolio, and as a Legislative Assistant/Office Manager for Congressman Dave Joyce, focusing on Defense and Veterans Affairs. Earlier roles include Legislative Correspondent, where management of constituent communications was key, and Deputy Director for the Ohio Jobs and Growth Committee. Ian Steger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Mount Union.
