Marisol Morales, EdD, currently serves as the Executive Director of the Carnegie Elective Classifications at the American Council on Education since April 2022. Previous positions include Executive Director at the Carnegie Elective Classification Central Office and Vice President at the Commission on Public Purpose in Higher Education, both in 2022. From February 2018 to January 2022, Marisol held the role of Vice President for Network Leadership at Campus Compact and was the Director of Civic and Community Engagement at the University of La Verne from August 2013 to February 2018. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Member at House of Ruth and as a Commissioner for the Latino Family Commission under the State of Illinois Office of the Lt. Governor. Marisol also has a background as Associate Director at DePaul University, overseeing service learning initiatives, and as Program Director at the Puerto Rican Cultural Center. Marisol holds an EdD in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne, a Certificate in Executive Education from Harvard Kennedy School, and an MA/MS in International Public Service Management from DePaul University.
