Steven Bloom has a diverse work experience in government relations and policy. Steven started their career as an Employment Counsel Fellow at the Labor Policy Office, Senate Health Education Labor and Pensions Committee in 2002. Steven then joined United Jewish Communities as a Senior Legislative Associate from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they became the Director of Federal Relations at Independent Sector, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2020, they worked at the American Council on Education, starting as an Associate Director and eventually becoming the Assistant Vice President of Government Relations.
