Mit Buchanan is a 12-year veteran in the renewable energy sector with a career spanning 31 years in the energy sector within JPMorgan and its heritage organizations. Prior to joining Energy Investments, she headed up the Oil & Gas Team of JPMorgan Capital Corporation and structured production platform financing for Independents in the Gulf of Mexico. She has also worked on cross-border financings as an originator and had syndication responsibilities in leasing, affordable housing and the energy sectors.
As a current member of the Energy Investments Team, she has functioned as a senior originator with high-level coverage responsibilities for several top-tier JPMorgan clients. Mit has also headed up transactions in the wind, solar (especially commercial and utility photovoltaics), and geothermal sectors generating repeat business and demonstrating an ability to manage and bring to closure complex financial transactions. Mit has been with JPMorgan and its predecessor companies Bank One and First Chicago since 1987.
Ms. Buchanan completed her Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Duke University.
