Laura Carroll is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and international education. Currently serving as a Program Officer at American Councils for International Education since August 2025, Laura previously held roles including Project Manager at International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc., where a complex portfolio of global health assignments for USAID clients was managed. At FHI 360, Laura was a Senior Program Officer and Program Officer, responsible for conceptualizing and writing project proposals for U.S. funding. Additional experience includes contributions as a writer at Ethical Traveler and Go Overseas, logistical coordination for international youth programs, and management of the Professional Fellows Program at Hands Along The Nile Development Services. Laura holds a Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Medieval Studies from Smith College.
