Alishya Mayfield

Alishya Mayfield is currently a Program Officer at the Gates Foundation, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Alishya served as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and as an Associate Scientist in the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital from September 2015 to September 2022. Additionally, Alishya was the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Health and Policy Strategist at Pivot Works, Inc. between July 2019 and June 2022. From September 2015 to June 2019, Alishya worked at Partners In Health, contributing as a Senior Clinical Advisor on Strategy and a Health and Policy Advisor on Health Systems Strengthening. Alishya holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
