M. Kaye Kramer

Vice President, Diabetes Prevention at American Diabetes Association

M. Kaye Kramer's work experience begins in 1985 at the University of Pittsburgh, where they served as an Assistant Professor of Public Health Practice for over 30 years until 2016. During this time, they focused on preventing diabetes and improving cardiovascular health through education and training. From 2004 to 2016, Kramer worked as the Director of the Diabetes Prevention Support Center at the University of Pittsburgh. This center was established to address the diabetes epidemic through evidence-based prevention intervention programs.

In 2016, Kramer joined Innovative Wellness Solutions (IWS)/Spark360 as the Chief Science Officer. They advocated for human-centered wellness programs for medium and large-sized businesses. Kramer then joined PeopleOne Health in 2019, taking on the role of Chief Science Officer. PeopleOne Health aimed to provide a different type of healthcare, focusing on patient-centered care.

Currently, Kramer is serving as the Vice President of Diabetes Prevention for the American Diabetes Association. In this role, they are leading a project focused on diabetes prevention and health equity, which is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

M. Kaye Kramer has a degree in MPH from the University of Pittsburgh, with a field of study in DrPH. They also hold a certification as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
