Rashid Mosley

Rashid Mosley has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Rashid started their career as a Middle School Science Teacher/Coordinator at Prince George's County Public Schools, where they implemented a system-wide science curriculum and managed various educational programs. Rashid then moved on to work as a Project Director at Howard University, where they targeted science teachers from the same school district for a talent management program. Rashid also worked at Sylvan Learning Centers as a Director of Educational Programs, overseeing the implementation of training and development programs. Rashid later joined Georgia State University as an Associate Director, where they assisted students in completing their Associate's degree in Biology or Chemistry and successfully transferring to a four-year institution. Rashid also served as the Director of Community Engagement at United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta, developing a network of community and business leaders to collectively impact the region. Most recently, they held the position of National Director of Program Grants Strategic Alignment at the American Diabetes Association, where they developed and implemented a strategic plan for organizational change management and led a team in operational planning and resource allocation.

Rashid Mosley obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Savannah State University between 1992 and 1995. Later, they pursued a Secondary Education degree in Chemistry, Reading, and Special Education from the Maryland State Department of Education in 1997-1998. Rashid also holds a Doctorate degree from The George Washington University in Education. Furthermore, they have a Master of Science degree in Administration Leadership with a specialization in Organizational Development and Behavior from Central Michigan University, although the dates of completion are not specified.
