General Counsel at AEPS Corporation

Jacob Stone has been the General Counsel at AEPS since 2014. Mr. Stone is responsible for leading legal strategic initiatives by providing senior management with effective advice on company strategies and their implementation. He also manages the legal function which includes obtaining and overseeing the work of outside counsel.

Mr. Stone is directly involved in AEPS business transactions in negotiating critical contracts and oversees the approval process for corporate policies, procedures and programs. He also provides continuing counsel and guidance on all corporate legal matters. Mr. Stone serves as key lawyer/legal advisor on all major business transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures for AEPS and assumes ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the company conducts its business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. He works with the executive team and advises AEPS on legal aspects of the company’s finances, including assessing and advising on current and future business structures and legal entities. He currently participates in bid and proposal management and is directly involved with negotiating and drafting government subcontracts.

Mr. Stone is licensed to practice in the State of Texas, has a jurisdoctor from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
