Charlie Wagner

Charlie Wagner currently serves as Vice President of Strategy and Development at American Electric Power, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Charlie was with GIC from 2015 to September 2025, where responsibilities included origination and execution of equity investments within regulated utilities, power generation, transportation, and energy midstream sectors, alongside asset management of the infrastructure portfolio. Prior experience includes various positions at UBS and RBS focusing on investment banking with a specialization in the Power & Utilities sector. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting, with a minor in Spanish, from Miami University, completed in 2012.
