Karen Shadders

Karen Shadders currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Development at The Emerson Group, focusing on long-term company strategy and talent alignment for business growth and continuity. With extensive experience at Wegmans Food Markets, Karen held several leadership roles, including Vice President of Health & Well Being, where Karen developed strategies for health categories, and Vice President of Health, Wellness, Home & Entertaining, where a transformation of product categories enhanced the customer experience. Additionally, Karen served as Vice President of People, transforming the HR function into a strategic business partner. Earlier in the career, Karen was a Store Manager at Wegmans, leading a large team to deliver outstanding customer service.
