Curtis Cook

Curtis Cook is an experienced plant manager with a career at American Electric Power since May 2007, where responsibilities have included managing the John Amos Plant and the Rockport Plant, overseeing two 1,300 MW coal-fired units, and running the Cook Coal Terminal, a coal transfer facility. Prior roles at Rockport have included Maintenance Superintendent Sr. and Maintenance Supervisor, along with experience as a welder and steam turbine mechanic for field services within the AEP eastern fleet. Curtis Cook served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard from April 2002 to March 2014 and holds an EMBA in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from The University of Charleston, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Mountain State University.
