James Begell

James Begell is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on SCADA and controls engineering. Currently serving as SCADA Engineering Supervisor at American Electric Power since September 2017, James has held various roles within the company, including Controls Engineering Supervisor and Senior Engineer. Prior to this, James worked as a Controls Engineer for EASi and as a SCADA Engineer for First Solar. Additional experience includes roles as a Controls Engineer at Control Design Solutions LLC, a Project Engineer at ADVANCED CONTROL SOLUTIONS, INC., and an Electrical Engineer at Buehrer Group Architecture & Engineering, Inc. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Toledo, obtained in 2011.
