Leila Melhem is a Senior Counsel (Regulatory) at American Electric Power since August 2020, with a focus on public, regulatory, and utility law, particularly in representing regulated electric utilities at both state and federal levels. Prior experience includes serving as an Electric and Gas Utility Regulatory Attorney at Winstead PC and an Associate at Duggins Wren Mann & Romero, LLP, where responsibilities encompassed drafting legal documents and supporting complex regulatory proceedings.
