Tom Cardenas III

Tom Cardenas III has a robust background in electrical engineering and business management, with significant experience in the energy sector. At American Electric Power, Tom held multiple titles including Manager of Distribution System, Protection and Control Manager, and Regulatory Consultant Staff from September 2021 to July 2024. Prior to that, Tom worked as an Engineering Specialist at UC Synergetic from May 2007 to February 2008. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2007 and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, expected in May 2024.
