Abdulrahman AlKassem, Ph.D., CEM, serves as an Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Islamic University of Madinah, having held various academic positions including Assistant Professor, Vice Dean, and Lecturer within the same department since November 2013. Additionally, Abdulrahman is a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers since December 2021. Previous experience includes internships at Saudi Electricity Company and SWCC_KSA, where involvement in power generation and water desalination projects was gained. Abdulrahman holds a Ph.D. in System Engineering (Renewable Energy) and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power System) from Umm Al-Qura University.

The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is a nonprofit professional society of over 17,000 members in 100 countries.
