Director, Pathology at MacroGenics

Monirath Hav, MD, PhD, has an extensive work experience history. Since 2023, they have been serving as the Director of Pathology at MacroGenics, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Ionpath from 2022 to 2023 as the Director of Pathology & Spatial Proteomics, where they led teams in delivering spatial proteomics MIBI project results to customers and developed machine learning algorithms for tissue-based image analysis. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Senior Scientist of Pathology & Spatial Proteomics at IONpath Inc. Additionally, they have held positions as a Consultant Pathologist and Scientist at Cedars-Sinai from 2019 to 2020 and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southern California from 2018 to 2019. Furthermore, they have experience as a Lecturer of Histology and Pathology at the University of Health Sciences from 2012 to 2017 and as the Director of Pathology at Calmette Hospital from 2011 to 2017.

Monirath Hav holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Internal Medicine from the University of Health Sciences, completed between 1999 and 2007. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2011, Monirath pursued Residency Training in Anatomic Pathology at Ghent University. This was followed by the completion of a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree with a specialization in Pathology at Ghent University from 2010 to 2015. In 2016, Monirath obtained a Master of Medicine degree in Clinical Research from the University of Sydney. Additionally, in April 2022, Monirath acquired a certification in Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from Coursera.
