Brian Watson

Brian Watson has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Brian has held senior positions such as Vice President at American Energy Storage Innovations, Inc. and European Sales Director at Hyosung Corporation. Brian has also served as a Non-Executive Director at Watson Energy and 2 Shires Credit Union Limited. Brian has extensive experience in technical sales and product marketing, with previous roles at CHINT Electric and GE Energy Connections. Brian has a strong background in commercial and sales management, as well as expertise in electric vehicle solutions and battery energy storage systems.

Brian Watson has a comprehensive education history. Brian completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Open University in 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Chesterfield College of Further Education in 1987. Brian also attended Clowne Comprehensive from 1975 to 1982, where they achieved 10 "O" Levels, 3 "A" Levels, and studied various subjects including Maths, Physics, English Literature, Geography, Tech Drawing, Woodwork, Metalwork, and General Studies. In addition, Brian completed a Business Administration and Management program called the GE RISE Leadership program in 2012-2013. Brian has also obtained certifications from the International Society of Business Leaders, CECOR, GE (Certified Analytics Professional), and The Institute of Directors (Associate Director Of Sales/Sales Manager). Brian holds the title of Incorporated Engineer from THE ENGINEERING COUNCIL, achieved in 1991.
