Rick Cwiakala

Rick Cwiakala has held various key positions in the energy storage industry. Rick currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at American Battery Solutions ESS Division since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at NEC Energy Solutions as the Vice President of Grid Integration and Service from May 2014 to January 2022. Before joining NEC Energy Solutions, Rick held the position of Director of Platform Engineering and Service at A123 Systems from August 2008 to May 2014. Rick also worked as the Director of Product Quality and Operations; Management Systems at Schneider Electric from July 2007 to August 2008 and as a Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager at APC from November 2000 to July 2007.

Rick Cwiakala holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University at Buffalo. Rick also earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university.
