Amy Lamb Woods, PE has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, with a focus on forensic and preservation engineering. Amy Lamb began their career as a Research Architect at the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1995. From 1999 to 2010, Amy worked at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. as a Forensic and Preservation Engineer, where they conducted condition evaluations and testing for various materials, and collaborated with chemists and petrographers for material deterioration investigations and repair projects. Amy Lamb also performed on-site inspections for the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA). Amy then worked at Thornton Tomasetti as a Forensic and Preservation Engineer from 2011 to 2015, and at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they joined the International Masonry Institute as the Director of Technical Education, a role they held until 2023. Currently, Amy serves as the Principal Engineer at American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET).
