Jeff Pickering

Jeff Pickering has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Jeff is currently working as the Director of Academic Programs at the American Enterprise Institute, where they oversee academic initiatives. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of the Initiative on Faith & Public Life at the same institution.

Before joining the American Enterprise Institute, Jeff worked at the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, where they served as the Director of Public Relations and Policy Communications Director. Jeff also held positions as an Associate Policy Communications Director and a Policy Associate at the organization.

Jeff's previous experience includes working at The Austin Stone Community Church as a Campus Equipping Coordinator, where they led volunteer teams and organized classes to equip members of the church. Jeff also implemented inventory controls and streamlined store displays.

Jeff has also worked at Strategic Partnerships, Inc. as an Associate Consultant & Marketing Specialist, where they facilitated partnerships between Fortune 500 companies and state and local governments. Additionally, they contributed to writing business articles, press releases, and managing social media channels.

Jeff's work experience also includes roles at the Office of the Provost at an unnamed university, where they served as a Public Relations Coordinator. Jeff worked on a campaign that aimed to promote learning objectives on campus.

Jeff gained experience in international development through an internship at International Justice Mission, where they provided support in investigations and security. This involved briefing the team on trade laws, arranging logistics, and organizing documents.

During their time as a student at Texas A&M University, Jeff served as the Student Body President, where they represented student opinion to various stakeholders.

Jeff'searly career included internships at BigStuf Camps and involvement in coordinating activities in Kenya.
