Apoorva Shukla

Apoorva Shukla is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in credit risk underwriting and portfolio analytics, currently serving as Director at American Express since August 2014. In this role, Apoorva leads the credit risk underwriting function for consumer credit cards and oversees the monitoring of performance for multi-billion dollar credit card portfolios, identifying both risks and opportunities. Prior to American Express, Apoorva worked at Mogae Media as Monetization Manager, developing mobile sales strategies and executing marketing campaigns for Airtel, and completed a brief management internship at Tata Motors. Early career experience includes a position as Design Engineer at DRDO. Apoorva holds an MBA from IIM Shillong and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Hamirpur.
