Jean Diacono

Jean Diacono has extensive experience in financial services, currently serving as SVP Country Manager for Italy and Head of Joint Ventures for EMEA at American Express since April 2004. Responsibilities include managing the Amex Merchant Acquiring P&L across 30 European countries and holding board membership in two Amex legal entities. Previous positions at American Express encompass roles as Vice President General Manager for Continental Europe, France & BeNeLux, and in B2B sectors. Prior to American Express, Jean Diacono was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from 1999 to 2003. Educational credentials include an MBA from INSEAD and an Engineering Master from Centrale Lyon, complemented by preparatory classes at lycee Pierre de Fermat.
